(EU-) Taxonomy-Regulation

Regulation (EU) 2020/852, which was adopted by the European Parliament and Council, aims to establish a framework to promote sustainable investments and to amend Regulation 2019/2088. The EU taxonomy represents a classification system that contains a list of environmentally sustainable economic activities, but does not provide for the categorization of socially sustainable activities. A sustainable investment can either be in line with the taxonomy or not, depending on its environmental objective.
